Infinity Metrics BETA

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 8, 2025

Why We're Different

At Infinity Metrics ("we", "us", or "our"), privacy isn't an afterthought—it's the foundation. This policy covers how we handle data for both website owners (our customers) and their visitors (end-users). Here's the short version:

  • No cookies. Ever.
  • No personal data from visitors.
  • No cross-site tracking.
  • Self-hosted—you control everything.
  • GDPR, CCPA, and privacy-law friendly by design.

We built Infinity Metrics to give you powerful insights without compromising anyone's privacy.

What We Collect

From You (Website Owners)

When you use Infinity Metrics, we collect:

  • Your basics: name, email.
  • Billing info (if applicable, handled by our secure payment processor).
  • Website details where you install Infinity Metrics.
  • Messages you send us.

From Visitors (End-Users)

The Infinity Metrics software collects:

  • Anonymous stats: page views, referrers, browser type.
  • Device info: type (mobile, tablet, desktop), OS, browser.
  • Rough location: country only, nothing pinpoint.
  • Session data: duration, pages visited, navigation paths.

Important: Since Infinity Metrics is self-hosted, all visitor data is collected and stored on your servers, not ours. We never have access to this data unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes.

What We Skip

  • Personal info from visitors.
  • Visitor IP addresses (hashed immediately and discarded).
  • Fingerprinting that IDs individuals.
  • Form inputs or content interactions.
  • Anything from password-protected pages.
  • Cross-site tracking.
  • Persistent identifiers.

How We Use It

For Website Owners

We use your info to:

  • Manage your license and release updates.
  • Handle payments.
  • Answer your questions and provide support.
  • Build better features.
  • Send occasional product updates and announcements.

For Visitors

Anonymous data helps website owners:

  • Understand site traffic and usage patterns.
  • Identify popular content and referral sources.
  • Optimize site performance and user experience.
  • Never: profile individuals or target ads.

Where Your Data Lives

Infinity Metrics is self-hosted, all visitor analytics data is stored on your own servers. That means:

  • Visitor data stays with you, not us.
  • It's in a database you control.
  • We never see or access your analytics data unless you explicitly share it for support purposes.
  • We secure data in transit; you're responsible for securing your server and database.
  • You control data retention policies and backups.

Your account information (name, email, etc.) is stored securely on our servers to manage your subscription and provide customer service.

Who Sees Your Data

We don't sell or share your info, period. Exceptions:

  • Trusted partners (like payment processors) who help us run things.
  • Legal requirements or to protect our rights.
  • A business sale (with your okay).

Visitor analytics data is stored exclusively on your servers. We don't have access to it unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes.

Your Control

As a website owner, you can:

  • Edit or delete your account info, just ask.
  • Skip marketing emails (service updates stay).
  • Request what data we have on you.
  • Delete all analytics data from your servers at any time.
  • Configure data retention policies however you prefer.

As a visitor to a site using Infinity Metrics:

  • No personal data is collected = nothing to delete.
  • No cookies = no cookie consent banners needed.
  • Block JavaScript or use privacy tools if you want.
  • Contact the site owner with privacy concerns about their analytics practices.
